    Join us for a “Meet the Innovation Ecosystem” panel discussion and networking event. The program is designed to introduce North Shore business leaders to the various state, private, and nonprofit organizations committed to fostering entrepreneurship and business growth in the Commonwealth, particularly in the technology, life sciences, and sustainability sectors.

    The panel discussion will be followed by a networking mixer. Beer, wine, and appetizers will be served.

    Re-imagining the North Shore Technology Workforce, Part III: Insights and Recommendations for the Northeast Massachusetts Innovation Economy

    Please join us for the release of a new study by the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute, funded by Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and Essex County Community Foundation for North Shore Technology Council, examining the trends and workforce needs of the technology sector.

    This is the third in our ongoing advocacy event series to engage industry, government, academia, and non-profit organizations in building our region's technology workforce, in order to strengthen the region North of Boston as a leader in technology, life sciences, sustainable energy, manufacturing, and other critical technology industries.

    Researchers from the Donahue Institute will reveal the findings of a new 2024 workforce study. Following the presentation, a panel of experts from industry, government, and academia will discuss their perspective.

    Findings will include:

    • Regional demographic, economic, and technology trends
    • The state of innovation in Northeast Massachusetts
    • Strengths and weaknesses of the region’s business and workforce
    • Recommendations to meet employer needs with a qualified workers
    • The role of industry, academia, and government in forging a path forward
