Leadership opportunity with the Women’s Initiative
Looking for a way to get more involved in issues of concern to women on the North Shore and the NSTC? We invite you to join the Women's Initiative leadership as a co-chair of this very special interest group. Help lead our technology members to nurture, advance, showcase, and educate women in technology. As a co-chair of the Women's Initiative, you will help produce programs that bring leaders in technology to discuss "hot" issues of the day, educate boys and girls about STEM careers, and showcase accomplishments of North Shore women in technology. Our meetings are well-attended and give our members ample opportunities to network and connect with business leaders in casual settings. Other co-chair responsibilities include: *Develop agendas for and co-chair regular monthly meetings *Facilitate special events of interest to members *Serve as a member of the NSTC operations board *Represent the Women's Initiative at key NSTC events *Develop the Women's Initiative portion of the NSTC strategic plan and budget *Collaborate with other NSTC special interest groups and standing committees *Evaluate annually the performance of the Women's Initiative in achieving its mission *Network with other women-focused groups as a representative of NSTC Contact us with questions or to recommend a candidate or yourself at nstcwi@gmail.com.
