Massachusetts is ranked first in the country for our innovation and technology economy. While Boston gets much of the attention as a hub for this growth, how is the rest of the Commonwealth involved and how can communities outside the city contribute? Katie Stebbins, Assistant Secretary for Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Baker administration, will provide an overview of the innovation economy state-wide, including along the North Shore, and will cover strategies for ensuring that every community has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from this growing economic sector. Katie will also describe some of the public-private partnerships taking place in the innovation ecosystem and offer ways that those partnerships can expand.
