What We Do

As a non-profit association, our goal is to promote and sustain the growth of technology in and around the area north of Boston, and to provide a successful model for other regions.

For the benefit of member businesses and the community we provide a professional forum and resources for:

• Community business education and information exchange
• Exposing the technology perspective effectively through live programs and  media
• Peer-to-peer learning
• Effective collaboration
• Focused networking events

Since the beginning of the century, the NSTC has been evolving  and increasing its impact on its stakeholders.  The foundation for our success is the product of dedicated volunteers that participate on such essential groups as the Membership Committee, the Programs Committee, the Sponsorship Committee and the Board of Directors.  Moreover, the Council has taken advantage of several innovations including:

• Fostering a new non-profit incubator for startups called North Shore InnoVentures
• Special Interest Groups that focus on areas of interest such as Sustainable Products and Science
• The Biomedical Technology Section which is developing new programs with content specifically tailored to meet the special needs of the  burgeoning bioscience community North of Boston
